Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Black Queens Player

Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, a 29-year-old Black Queens forward, has joined Nottingham Forest Women on a two-year deal from London City Lionesses.

Boye-Hlorkah signed a two-year contract with Nottingham Forest after her deal with London City Lionesses expired.

She has played for Everton, Aston Villa, and London City Lionesses in her career, with notable performances in the Women’s Super League.

Boye-Hlorkah represented England at U19 and U23 levels before switching to Ghana, featuring in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations where Ghana won a bronze medal.

“I’m excited to join the Club and play with this group of players. The team had an incredible season last year – history is being created here and I’m grateful that I can be a part of continuing to build something special at the Club” she said.

Nottingham Forest Women coach Carly Davies expects Boye-Hlorkah to be a “huge asset” for the team, praising her quality, experience, and versatility.

Boye-Hlorkah’s signing is seen as a boost to Nottingham Forest’s squad, given her proven track record in the Women’s Super League and her impressive performance at the Africa Cup of Nations
