Death Jam FC has emerge as winners of the second edition of ‘TUBA FOR PEACE TOURNAMENT’ beating their local rival Bay Empire FC in a 5 – 4 penalty shootouts.
The tournament hosted by TUBA FOR PEACE INITIATIVE ORGANISATION, at the famous Tuba Astroturf was honoured by Nene Tetteh Ibrahim Agbo VI, MP For Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency, Hon. Felix Akwetey Nii Okle, Nii Mankralo/ Presiding Member Ga South Municipal Assembly, Nene Tetteh Shaibu Agbo, Nii Dzasetse Of Tuba, Alhaji Bunyamin Hussein Agbo, Tuba Asafoatse, Nene Immurana Tettey Shaibu Sodji, Tuba Oshipi, Nene Osman Tetteh Seidu Sodji, Youth Leader Of Tuba Nii Tei Muntala Sodji, Assembly Member For Gedan Tuba Electoral Area, Hon. Dawud Narteh Kweitsu.

Out of the twenty four teams in Tuba and its environs that participated in this edition’s tournament, Bay Empire, the team with most supporters played against Death Jam FC, the underdogs of the tournament in the grand finale.
The match ended in a goalless draw and had to be decided by penalty kicks, which ended in a surprising 5 – 4 against Bay Empire FC.
The Champions, Death Jam FC were awarded with GOLD MEDALS, SET OF JERSEY, FOOTBALLS, a TROPHY, and a sum of GH 2500 whiles the 1st runner up, Bay Empire FC went home with SILVER MEDALS SET OF JERSEY, a FOOTBALL, and a sum of GH 1500.

Meanwhile the 2nd runner, Sika Puduo FC was rewarded with a FOOTBALL, and GHC 700 whiles the 3rd runner up, Alhaji FC was rewarded with a FOOTBALL.
Ibrahim Abubakar of Death Jam Fc was adjourned the best player of the tournament, Essel Kumi also of Death Jam Fc was adjourned the Best goalkeeper.

The golden boots was awared to Sudais Umar of Zabarma Fc with Sherifdeen Agbo of Asuoden Fc awarded the youngest Player of the tournament whiles Raymond Ibrahim of Alhaji Fc was awarded the most promising player.
In his addressing, the MP For Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency, Hon. Felix Akwetey Nii Okle, adviced all the players to keep working hard because with such talents they will be great assets to the nation.
On his part, the Assembly Member For Gedan Tuba Electoral Area, Hon. Dawud Narteh Kweitsu said, Tuba is a very peaceful community, unlike the misconception many people have about Tuba.
Citing the peaceful tournament which hosted almost 1000 spectators without the police, he said they are a peace loving people but because the love themselves, they always unite against outsiders who come in to attack any of them. He called on investors not to believe the negative things people say about Tuba but feel free to come and invest in their community.
Also the Co-founder of TUBA FOR PEACE INITIATIVE ORGANISATION, Mr. Kamaldeen thanked the dignitaries, the sponsors, the teams that participated, and the general public for helping to make the tournament a successful one.
